STARLITE® CRABAPPLE
The Starlite® Crabapple has an upright branching habit and good resistance to apple scab. It features red buds that open to clusters of white flowers in mid spring. Flowers are followed by showy, persistent red fruit from early to late fall that attract songbirds, and other wildlife.
Glossy, dark green leaves turn a nice shade of yellow in fall.
The Starlight® Crabapple enjoys full sun in rich, moist, well-drained soils. It is a cold hardy, stately tree that is highly tolerant of urban pollution and can thrive in city environments.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer.
