Malus x 'Coppurple' Perfect Purple is commonly referred to as Perfect Purple Crabapple. This recent introduction is a favorite among gardeners. It features an upright, narrow habit with showy purple foliage and bright pink flowers. Leaves turn attractive red in fall. Plum colored fruit adds ornamental value throughout fall and winter.
Perfect Purple Crabapple is very cold hardy and thrives in full sun in average, sandy, well-drained soils. It is tolerant of most soil and can thrive in city environments.
