ADIRONDACK CRABAPPLE

The Adirondack Crabapple is a superior crabapple! It is a small, narrow, upright deciduous tree that features red and white buds that burst into large, fragrant white flowers tinged with pink in late spring. It is noteworthy for its profuse flowering! The blooms are followed by glossy, red and orange fruits which persist into winter. Foliage is a nice medium green and this variety has great disease resistance too!

The Adirondack Crabapple enjoys full sun in rich, well-drained soils. It is ideal as a specimen plant in gardens - inside the city or out. Once established it is drought tolerant.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH, and ensure the soil is consistently moist but not waterlogged. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced fertilizer, and prune any dead or damaged branches in late winter or early spring.
