GLENLEVEN LITTLELEAF LINDEN

The Glenleven Littleleaf Linden is a fast-growing, dense, pyramidal to oval, deciduous tree that tends to grow in a cone shape. The Glenleven is noteworthy for having the fastest growth rate than other littleleaf lindens with a 50' height and a 40' spread. It features small clusters of fragrant, yellow flowers that appear in late June into July that are attractive to pollinators. Grayish brown bark has ridges and furrow with age and adds to winter interest.

Glenleven Littleleaf Linden thrives in full sun in average, well-drained soils. It tolerates urban pollution more than other Linden and can thrive in city environments. It is an excellent shade tree for large areas.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with full sun to partial shade, and ensure the soil is well-draining. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
