GOLDEN GLORY CORNELIAN DOGWOOD

The Golden Glory Cornelian Cherry Dogwood is deciduous shrub or small tree that typically grows to 15-20 feet tall. It has a more erect habit and more flowers than the species. Valued for its prolific small yellow flowers that appear in early spring followed by bright red, cherry-like fruit in summer. Perfect as a hedge, screen or as a specimen in shrub borders.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in full sun to partial shade; while it tolerates partial shade, it produces the best fruit and floral display in full sun. It is highly adaptable to a wide range of soil types, including slightly alkaline soils, provided they are well-draining. Water deeply during the first two growing seasons to establish. Pruning: Late winter is the ideal time to prune. Minimal maintenance is required; only remove dead, diseased, or crossing branches to maintain the plant's natural shape.
