Kniphofia 'Redhot Popsicle' is a vibrant and compact cultivar of Red Hot Poker and part of the of the Popsicle™ series. It boasts a long bloom period and neat, tufted clumps of narrow, grass-like, green foliage. From late spring through early fall, 'Redhot Popsicle™ sends up dense racemes of showy cinnamon-red tubular flowers. Its fiery color and extended reblooming nature make it a perfect choice for adding a bold, vertical element to the front of a sunny border, rock gardens, or for use in mixed containers.
'Redhot Popsicle' thrives in full sun and consistently well-drained soil. To maintain a tidy appearance and promote new flower spikes, gardeners should promptly remove spent flower stems by deadheading.
