CHATEAU® DE CHAMBORD ROSE OF SHARON
Chateau® de Chambord Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Minsyre10' PP31,305) is an enchanting and long-blooming deciduous shrub that brings late-season color and elegance to any garden. It features an abundance of rosy-pink hollyhock-like flowers that continuously bloom from mid-summer through first frost - perfect for a pollinator-friendly garden. Each bloom is distinguished by a striking, deep violet-red center, creating a beautiful contrast. The habit is graceful and vase-shaped with sturdy stems and finely lobed, dark green foliage, providing a strong structural presence in the landscape.
Hibiscus Chateau® de Chambord is low-maintenance and easy to care for. It thrives in full sun (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day) in nutrient-rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It enjoys consistent moisture but not waterlogged. It is ideal for adding drama and height to the back of a garden border, creating a lovely flowering hedge, or framing a gate or entry. It is also perfect for large containers.
