BALLERINA RED® SWEET DREAMS FALSE SEA THRIFT
Armeria 'Ballerina Red' is commonly referred to as Ballerina Red False Sea Thrift. It is known as False Sea Thrift because of its broad evergreen foliage instead of the grassy tufts of a true Sea Thrift. It features a compact habit with rose red flowers on slim stems above broad leaves.
Ballerina Red False Sea Thrift is deer resistant and attracts bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. It thrives in full to part sun and average, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once it is established. It is ideal for borders, rock gardens and as a groundcover for smaller areas.
