INCREDIBALL STORM PROOF™ HYDRANGEA

The Hydrangea Incrediball® Storm Proof™ ('SMNHAGOV') is a newly refined evolution of the classic smooth hydrangea, specifically engineered for maximum structural integrity. While the original Incrediball® was a massive leap forward, Storm Proof™ features thicker stems and a more compact, mounded habit that reaches a manageable 3 to 4 feet. Its pristine white globe-shaped blooms are slightly smaller than the original Incrediball®, but they are far more numerous, covering it from the ground to the tips. Flowers emerge a crisp lime-white, mature to a brilliant snowy white, and age to a sophisticated jade green, staying upright through heavy summer downpours without the need for staking.

Incrediball® Storm Proof™ thrives in full sun to partial shade; in northern climates, full sun (6 plus hours) produces the strongest stems, while gardeners in the South should provide some afternoon relief from the heat. It is not fussy about soil pH but does require consistent moisture and well-drained soil rich in organic matter. It is ideal for low hedges, foundation plantings, or massed borders where you want a reliable and easy floral display that won't flop over after a storm.
