FIRE ALARM CORAL BELLS
Sound the color 'Fire Alarm' in your garden with this extraordinarily vibrant Heuchera, famed for having the reddest foliage of all Coral Bells. Heuchera 'Fire Alarm' forms a dense, mounding clump of thick, leathery, glossy red leaves that refuse to fade. The color is most intense - a brilliant, candy-apple red - in the cooler temperatures of spring and fall, while mellowing only slightly to a brownish-red or copper tone during the summer heat. Thanks to its Heuchera villosa hybrid parentage, 'Fire Alarm' exhibits improved tolerance for heat and humidity, making it a robust and reliable performer.
Rising above the foliage in summer are dainty spikes of pink, bell-shaped flowers on reddish stems, adding to the dramatic display. This deer-resistant, low-maintenance perennial is perfect for adding a year-round splash of fiery color to containers, rock gardens, or shaded borders.
