Wine & Roses® Weigela (Weigela florida 'Alexandra') is a classic and highly popular deciduous shrub, known for its bold, season-long color and easy-care nature. Its claim to fame is the striking contrast between its deep, rich burgundy-purple foliage and a profusion of bright, rosy-pink, trumpet-shaped flowers. The foliage color holds its intensity from spring to fall, making it a powerful backdrop in a garden even when not in bloom.
