STARBURST MAACKIA
The Maackia amurensis 'Starburst' is commonly referred to as Starburst Amur Maackia. This tough and more uniform variety features showy spikes of fragrant white pea-like flower clusters that rise above its dark green foliage in mid summer. Although it does not have appreciable fall color, the Maackia Starburst has very unique mottled, olive green bark that is extremely showy and adds winter interest.
This uncommon and unique specimen thrives in full sun and adapts to both dry and moist conditions and is somewhat tolerant of salt and urban pollution. Ideal for street and landscape use.
