REPANDENS ENGLISH YEW

Taxus baccata 'Repandens', commonly known as Repandens English Yew, is a slow-growing evergreen conifer celebrated for its elegant, prostrate habit. As Repandens Yew grows, it develops a distinct, flat-topped shape with gracefully drooping branch tips that create a soft, cascading effect. Its foliage consists of dense, lustrous, dark-green needles that maintain their rich color throughout the year, even in winter. It is durable and tolerate of a wide range of environmental conditions which makes it a staple in temperate landscapes.

Taxus baccata 'Repandens' thrives in well-drained soil and adapts well in full sun to partial shade. It is not tolerant of 'wet feet' and can be drought tolerant once established. It is ideal for low-maintenance foundation plantings, serving as a lush groundcover or a structural 'skirt' around larger specimen trees.
