The Jade Prince® Dawn Redwood is a large, dense, upright, pyramidal deciduous, conifer tree with a strong central leader. It features bright green, feathery foliage that matures to an attractive rusty, orange-brown in fall. Metasequoia trees have that unique appearance of an evergreen, but are deciduous and shed their leaves every fall.
The stately Jade Prince® Dawn Redwood enjoys full sun in rich, moist, well-drained soils. It is adaptable and can thrive in part sun, however, best coloring is in full sun.
