NEW ZEALAND™ HYBRID TEA ROSE

Rosa cv. 'MACgenev' is commonly referred to as New Zealand Hybrid Tea Rose. This distinguished cultivar boasts enchanting characteristics, including exquisitely fragrant, fully double blooms in a delicate shell pink hue, renowned for their early-blooming nature compared to other Hybrid Teas. Its unforgettable, super fruity fragrance adds an extra dimension of allure!

New Zealand Rose flourishes in full sun amidst nutrient-rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Cooler temperatures encourage the production of larger blooms, elevating the New Zealand to another level!

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. Ensure soil is rich, well-draining, and amended with organic matter. Water at the base (avoid getting leaves wet) to prevent fungal diseases. Pruning: Prune in early spring, just as the buds begin to swell (but before leaves emerge). Remove all dead, damaged, or diseased wood, then trim healthy stems back to an outward-facing bud to open up the center of the plant for air circulation.
