Rosa cv. 'JOHnago' is commonly referred to as Chicago Peace® Hybrid Tea Rose. This vigorous, bushy shrub blooms in flushes from spring to fall. It is a color variant of the most famous Peace Rose that was discovered in the Chicago, Illinois back in 1935. It features showy color variations of copper-pink fully double, cupped flowers with a bright yellow base. Its foliage is dark green and glossy and it can grow up to 4 feet tall with an equal spread.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in a location with at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. Ensure soil is rich, well-draining, and amended with organic matter. Water at the base (avoid getting leaves wet) to prevent fungal diseases. Pruning: Prune in early spring, just as the buds begin to swell (but before leaves emerge). Remove all dead, damaged, or diseased wood, then trim healthy stems back to an outward-facing bud to open up the center of the plant for air circulation.
