VOLCANO CHERRY LAUREL
Prunus laurocerasus Volcano 'JONG1' PP29,889 is commonly known as Volcano Cherry Laurel. This hardy, compact evergreen shrub has a rounded, dense habit. New leaves emerge dark red maturing to shiny dark green in summer. Creamy white flower spikes appear in spring followed by small, black fruit.
Volcano Cherry Laurel thrives in full to semi-shade in fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Easy to prune and ideal as a hedge plant or privacy screen.
