PACIFIC BLUE MACEDONIAN PINE

Pinus peuce 'Pacific Blue' is commonly referred to as the Macedonian Pine or Pacific Blue Balkan Pine. It is an extremely cold and wind tolerant, fast-growing pine that maintains its intense blue color year-round. Its beautiful blue needles are long, dense and persist to create a very full specimen with good form.

The Macedonian Pine prefers full sun in well-drained soils.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
