LITTLE KING RIVER BIRCH

The Little King River Birch (Betula nigra 'Little King' FOX VALLEY) is a compact, multi-stemmed tree known for its beautiful exfoliating bark. The outer orange-brown layer peels away to reveal a creamy tan underneath, creating a striking textured effect. Perfect for smaller landscape, this charming dwarf variety of River Birch only grows about 10 feet tall and 12 feet wide. Its leathery, diamond-shaped leaves emerge as a vibrant dark green, deepening in color through the season before turning a cheerful yellow in fall.

The Little King River Birch thrives in full sun to partial shade and adapts well to a range of soil conditions, from moist and acidic to slightly drier. This beautiful tree makes a stunning focal point in smaller gardens or shines when planted in groups to create a natural screen or border.
