CLEMATIS FIREWORKS
Grower Notes:

Clematis 'Fireworks' is a showy Clematis known for its bold, bi-color blooms that seem to explode with color. This vining perennial is a popular choice for gardeners seeking a low-maintenance plant with high visual impact. 'Fireworks' Clematis features large star-shaped flowers, often 6-8 inches across. The petals (sepals) are rich mauve or violet-blue, each with a wide fuchsia-red stripe running down the center. This dramatic contrast creates a stunning visual that lives up to its name.

One of the most attractive features of Clematis 'Fireworks' is its long and reliable blooming season. It provides a massive first flush of flowers from late spring to early summer, followed by second, often smaller, wave of blooms in late summer to early autumn. Flowers attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It thrives when its foliage is in full sun or part shade, but its roots are kept cool and shaded. This can be easily achieved by planting low-growing perennials or a layer of mulch at its base.
