Clematis 'Nelly Moser' is commonly referred to as Nelly Moser Clematis. It is one of the most popular clematis and features large 8 inch star-shaped, pale pink blooms with a carmine midstripe and reddish-purple anthers.
Introduced in 1897, this classic, adaptable favorite never stops impressing, winning countless awards for beauty as well as other noteworthy qualities. Nelly Moser Clematis thrives in full to part sun in rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils.
This mid-season bloomer flowers from May to June on previous season's growth. It has a heavy flush of flowers that occur in May and June followed by a possible second smaller flush in September on current season's growth. There is some shade tolerance with this variety.
