CLEMATIS DR RUPPEL
Grower Notes:

Clematis 'Dr. Ruppel' is commonly referred to as Dr. Ruppel Clematis. It is a deciduous climbing vine that blooms in late spring and late summer. Pale orchid flowers are large and ruffled with a wide carmine central bar and golden stamens. Foliage is medium green and holds up well through the growing season. It can grow up to 8 feet tall in a single season and is perfect for fences or trellises.

Dr. Ruppel is a strong grower and thrives in full sun or partial shade in organically rich, evenly moist, well-draining soils. It will not tolerate waterlogged areas. Clematis prefer having their "heads in the sun and their feet in the shade". Provide trellis or arbor for support and lightly prune in late winter or early spring.
