PROFUSION CRABAPPLE
Malus x moerlandsii 'Profusion' is commonly referred to as Profusion Crabapple. It is an upright, deciduous tree with a rounded habit. It features a profusion of attractive pink flowers in spring. As flowers fall, leaves emerge reddish-purple in spring and changes to bronze-green throughout summer. Abundant bright red fruits mature in fall and persist into winter attracting many songbirds.
Profusion Crabapple reaches 20 feet tall with an equal spread and is tolerate of deer, salt and urban conditions. It thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soil. It can be drought tolerant once established. Ideal as a specimen plant!
