ORNAMENTAL ONION

Allium 'Millenium' is commonly referred to as Millenium Ornamental Onion or simply Millenium Allium. It features rosy-purple flower balls that appear in midsummer, just above the foliage. Foliage is compact, upright glossy green, strap-like leaves that emit a slight smell of onion when crushed.

Millenium Allium thrives in full to partial sun in sandy, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Bulbs are best planting in fall and can be divided in spring or early fall.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with full sun. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Allow the foliage to die back naturally before cutting it back.
