HOLLYWOOD JUNIPER
Juniperus chinensis 'Torulosa' is commonly referred to as Hollywood Juniper. This evergreen shrub is a very unusual juniper that features an upright, somewhat pyramidal habit. It features irregular, twisted sprays of scale-like green foliage which remain upright. It retains its green color through winter and is ideal as a topiary specimen for use in containers and formal gardens. It has a beautiful wind-swept look and is ideal along the coast as it can be highly tolerant of salt and wind.
Hollywood Juniper thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It will not tolerate standing water.
