WHITE SWIRL SIBERIAN IRIS
Iris sibirica 'White Swirl' is a classic, elegant perennial that remains a favorite for its pristine, creamy-white blooms and refined form. Unlike some of the flashier, newer introductions, 'White Swirl' is prized for its clean, ivory petals that feature a subtle, delicate green-gold signal at the throat, providing a crisp, sophisticated look in the garden. Its slender, grass-like foliage remains attractive throughout the growing season, even after the flowers have faded, offering a valuable textural contrast to broader-leaved perennials. It is a reliable, clump-forming iris that is well-regarded for its vigorous, long-lived nature in the landscape.
To ensure peak performance, 'White Swirl' should be sited in a location that receives full sun to light afternoon shade; while it is quite adaptable, the best flower production occurs with at least six hours of direct sunlight.
