RED JEWEL® CRABAPPLE
Red Jewel™ Crabapple is an upright, open, brightly colored tree with pink buds that open to fragrant white flowers in April and May. A profuse amount of red fruit follows and persists into winter which the Cedar Waxwings and other birds and wildlife enjoy. Shiny dark green foliage lasts through summer and ages to yellow in fall.
The Red Jewel ™ Crabapple is disease resistant and enjoys full sun in rich, moist, well-drained soils. This is a smaller cultivar that stays petite and will look great in a front yard, close to a window, where the color show does not get missed!
