GREEN WALL SPIRE™ CRABAPPLE
Malus x adstringens 'Jefwall' PP35109 is commonly known as Green Wall Spire™ Columnar Crabapple. This First Editions® selection features an extremely upright, columnar habit that can be used as a privacy hedge when planted en masse. In spring, abundant pink buds turn into white flowers, followed by red fruit which birds adore. Glossy green foliage in spring and summer turn bronze in fall and persist until the winter winds whisk it away.
Green Wall Spire™ Crabapple thrives in full sun in nutrient rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. It makes a fantastic urban accent for hedges and privacy screens.
