FIRST EDITIONS® COURAGEOUS CRABAPPLE
Malus x 'DurLawrence' is commonly referred to as Courageous Crabapple. This First Editions® seedless deciduous tree features fragrant, bright pink blooms that accent its emerging bronze-red foliage in spring. Foliage matures to green and then turns yellow-orange in fall. It has a broad, upright growth habit and rarely produces fruit.
Courageous Crabapple is cold hardy and thrives in full sun in average, sandy, well-drained soils. It is tolerant of most soil and can thrive in city environments. Excellent for smaller landscapes.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced fertilizer. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
