Verbena canadensis 'Homestead Red' is a vibrant, low-growing perennial that brings the same robust, spreading habit as the iconic 'Homestead Purple', but with a striking, fiery red floral display. It is celebrated for its exceptional vigor and long bloom period, which extends from mid-spring well into the autumn months. Its trailing stems, covered in deeply lobed, lush green foliage, form a dense, weed-suppressing mat that makes it an outstanding choice for rock gardens, sunny embankments, and hanging baskets alike, providing a consistent splash of intense color that effectively attracts pollinators throughout the growing season.
