BRADBURYS BEE BALM
Monarda bradburiana is more commonly known as Bradbury's Bee Balm. This popular summer flowering perennial is shorter and more compact than other varieties. It has beautiful light lavender flowers with a hint of pink and speckled with purple. It blooms from late spring through fall. Foliage is gray-green with aromatic leaves that are often used for teas.
Bradbury's Bee Balm is resistant to powdery mildew and is resistant to deer and rabbits. It thrives in full sun in evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. Ideal for perennial borders, prairies and meadows. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage new ones.
