Echinacea x 'Balsomsed' PP23,105 is commonly referred to as Salsa Red Coneflower. It is part of the Sombrero® collection and features a compact habit with intense reddish-orange blooms that appear in mid-summer on 22-inch stems. Deadhead to prolong flowering period.
Salsa Red Coneflower thrives in full sun to partial shade with average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. After the growing season, dried flower seed heads attract winter birds looking for a meal.
