YUKI CHERRY BLOSSOM® DEUTZIA

Deutzia 'NCDX2' PP28347 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Yuki Cherry Blossom® is commonly referred to as Yuki Cherry Blossom® Deutzia. It is noteworthy for being the first 'Nikko'-type Deutzia with pink bell-shaped flowers. It is a low-spreading, mounding, deciduous shrub with elegant pink flowers that create a carpet of color. Autumn brings burgundy purple color to its foliage.

Yuki Cherry Blossom® Deutzia is adaptable and thrives in full to part sun in average, humusy, rich, moist, well-drained soils. Best flowering is in full sun. Great for naturalization projects as arching branches root where they touch the ground.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with full sun to partial shade (more sun equals more flowers). Water regularly during the first growing season. Prune immediately after the spring flowering period to maintain shape and encourage dense growth; avoid pruning in late winter or early spring, as this will remove the flower buds for the coming season.
