FIRST EDITIONS® STANDING OVATION™ SERVICEBERRY

The First Editions® Standing Ovation™ is similar to other cultivars in that it produces loads of white flowers in spring, and displays impressive red to orange fall color. Unlike other cultivars, however, you can fit this one into smaller areas. Its ascending branches create an upright, narrowly oval form.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining, slightly acidic soil enriched with organic matter to ensure vigorous development. Select a site with full sun to partial shade, as this balance promotes the best floral display and seasonal foliage color. Provide regular water during the first few growing seasons until fully established, especially during extended dry periods. Prune in late winter or early spring to remove dead or crossing branches, though minimal shaping is typically required for these naturally graceful specimens.
