COLES SELECT SERVICEBERRY

The Cole's Select Serviceberry is noteworthy for its thicker, glossier foliage than other selections. In May, white flowers tinged with pink emerge and then fade to white. Flowers give way to purplish-black berries in June that resemble blueberries. These edible berries are enjoyed by both birds and humans. Autumn brings a beautiful show of bright orange and red fall color. An excellent all-season selection for your landscape!

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote healthy growth.
