Achillea millefolium 'Sassy Summer Sunset' PP31412 is commonly referred to as Sassy Summer™ Sunset Yarrow. It is part of the Sassy Summer™ collection and is noteworthy for its taller habit, sturdy stems and large, dark orange flowers that mature to yellow during its growing season. Foliage is green and fern-like, adding a nice contrast to the bold flower color display. Flowers attract bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.
Sassy Summer™ Sunset Yarrow is one of the easiest perennials to grow. It thrives in full sun in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils. It does best in full sun, but can tolerate less. It can be drought tolerant once established. It is an attractive addition to the landscape in borders or mass plantings.
