GOLDEN WEEPING WILLOW
Salix Tristis is commonly known as the Golden Weeping Willow due to its golden yellow twigs and attractive weeping form. It is considered to be one of the greatest weeping willows and typically grows to 50-70 feet tall with an open crown and pendulous golden branches that dip to the ground. Green leaves in spring and summer mature yellow in fall.
This fast grower needs room to spread. It will tolerate wet conditions in full sun in areas where its shallow, invasive root system does not cause issues with drains or sewers. It will not tolerate drought or dry soils.
