It is compact, ornamentally attractive broadleaf evergreen shrub with vibrant red flower buds that open to coral pink flowers with dark pink stripes and markings on the side. The foliage is glossy dark green with a leathery texture.
Sarah Mountain Laurel is slow growing and can be expected to reach 5' tall in approximately 10 years.
