Zone: 6KALEIDOSCOPE™ RAZZLE DAZZLE ICE PLANT
Delosperma Kaleidoscope™ 'Razzle Dazzle' is a striking addition to the succulent world, known for its incredible flower power and high-energy color. It forms a low, spreading mat of succulent, cylindrical green leaves that remain attractive throughout the growing season. The blooms are a bright, saturated pinkish-purple that can almost appear iridescent under the midday sun. It is a prolific bloomer, often covering the foliage so completely that the plant looks like a solid carpet of color from late spring well into the summer months.
To keep Delosperma 'Razzle Dazzle' healthy and vibrant, it should be placed in a location that receives full, unobstructed sunlight. It is essential that the soil is porous and well-draining, as this variety will not tolerate sitting in damp or heavy earth. A sandy or rocky soil mix is the ideal choice for its root system. It is a perfect candidate for a hot, dry bank or as a colorful filler between paving stones in a walkway. Since it is highly drought-tolerant once it has settled in, you only need to provide water during the peak of summer heat when the soil has dried out completely.

To help Delosperma settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant Delosperma in lean, sharply well-draining soil - sandy or gravelly sites are ideal. Delosperma is a succulent that requires full sun and excellent air circulation; it does not tolerate heavy, wet soil, especially during winter months, as it is highly prone to crown and root rot. Water sparingly once established; avoid overwatering and heavy mulching, as these will lead to plant failure.
