The Ruth Ellen Flowering Dogwood is a multi-stemmed deciduous tree that is a hybrid cross between Cornus florida and Cornus kousa. It is noteworthy for its vigorous habit and large, clear, white bract flowers. Easy to grow and thrives in full sun to part shade in average to evenly moist soils. It has good resistance to anthracnose and borers.
