RED GNOME® RED TWIG DOGWOOD

Cornus alba 'Regnzam' is commonly referred to as Red Gnome® Red Twig Dogwood or Red Gnome Tatarian Dogwood. It is a fast-growing, compact, multi-stemmed, red twig dogwood with white berries in early summer. It typically grows 3-4' tall and wide with dark green foliage that stays true throughout the growing season before turning a showy burgundy red in fall.

Red Gnome® Red Twig Dogwood thrives in full to partial sun in organically rich, moist, well-drained soils. Perfect for planting in groups or massed in naturalistic settings in moist soils or where plants are allowed to spread.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in moist, fertile soil with a slightly acidic pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and promote new growth.
