ZAGREB THREADLEAF TICKSEED

Coreopsis verticillata 'Zagreb' is commonly referred to as Zagreb Tickseed. This thread-leaf variety features deeper yellow flowers and a more compact habit than C. 'Moonbeam'. Compact upright plants are bushy, and are the best performing cultivar of this species. Deadheading encourages more blooms. The verticillata cultivars have a combination of bright, drought tolerant, persistent flowers that last through the season. After the burst of summer flowering, cut off the flower heads for an additional autumn burst of color.

Zagreb Coreopsis thrives in full sun in evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. Ideal for sunny naturalized areas, cottage gardens and mass plantings.
