Coreopsis 'Red Elf' is commonly referred to as Red Elf Tickseed. It features deep burgundy petals with a bright yellow center for months even without deadheading. It is similar to Coreopsis 'Mercury Rising' but smaller. It is part of the Li'l Bang™ series that blooms earlier and stays consistent through fall without requiring deadheading.
Red Elf Coreopsis thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once it is established. It is ideal for beds and borders as well as any spot you want to bring in the pollinators.
