JETHRO TULL TICKSEED

Coreopsis auriculata 'Jethro Tull' PP18,789 is commonly referred to as Jethro Tull Tickseed. It is a distinctive looking Coreopsis that is a cross between Coreopsis 'Early Sunrise' and Coreopsis 'Zamfir'. It produces golden daisy-like yellow flowers with fluted petals. It has more fluted petals and a more compact habit than other selections. It is a long bloomer when deadheaded, and its flowers are a favorite with butterflies and bees.

Jethro Tull Coreopsis, as with all Coreopsis, are deer and rabbit resistant. It thrives in full sun in average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is ideal for beds, borders, cottage and rock gardens. It also makes a beautiful cut flower for vase display!
