MORAINE SWEETGUM
Liquidambar Moraine, commonly known as the Moraine Sweetgum is a fast-growing, narrow pyramidal tree with glossy, green, star-shaped leaves that turn bright red in fall. It is noteworthy for being the most cold-hardy Sweetgum known today. The bark becomes deeply ridged at around 25 years and adds winter interest.
The Moraine Sweetgum enjoys full to part sun in average, well-drained soil and is ideal for parks and campus areas where it has room to grow.

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in full sun to partial shade with a slightly acidic to neutral soil pH. Water regularly, but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Fertilize annually with a balanced fertilizer.
