PERMATHREAD™ RED SATIN TICKSEED

Coreopsis PERMATHREAD™ 'Red Satin' PP25736 is commonly referred to as Red Satin Tickseed or Red Satin Coreopsis. This member of the Permathread™ series features satiny, wine-red blooms that have yellow button centers. Flowers keep their color even in hot weather. Attractive thread-like foliage may need a shearing in late summer to encourage rebloom.

Red Satin Coreopsis is deer and rabbit resistant and thrives in full sun in average, sandy, well-drained soils. It can tolerate partial shade especially in hot summer areas. This easy to grow, low maintenance perennial is a favorite of bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. It is ideal in front border settings as well as cottage gardens, and looks especially nice in containers.
