Coreopsis grandiflora 'Early Sunrise' is commonly referred to as Early Sunrise Tickseed. This beautiful award winning perennial features a profusion of bright golden-yellow, semi-double, ruffled flowers (2" across) beginning in late spring and continuing through late summer. It is one of the earliest Coreopsis to bloom!
Deadheading is beneficial and encourages more blooms.
Early Sunrise Coreopsis is deer and rabbit resistant and thrives in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. It enjoys average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established. This versatile perennial is ideal for borders, mass plantings, along boarders and other naturalized areas.
