SONIC BLOOM® PINK WEIGELA

Sonic Bloom® Pink Weigela (Weigela florida 'Bokrasopin' PP24572 Proven Winners® Color Choice® Sonic Bloom® Pink) is one of the strongest rebloomers ever seen in Weigela! It features hot pink flowers in spring followed by more blooms until frost. Flowers attract hummingbirds, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Deadheading is not needed for its strong rebloom through fall.

Sonic Bloom® Pink Weigela is deer resistant and thrives in full sun with a minimum of six hours per day. It enjoys average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Prune immediately after blooming to keep the plant fresh. It is ideal beds, borders and sunny foundation plantings.

Planting Tips ⓘ

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with full sun to partial shade. Water regularly but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune immediately after the main spring flush of flowers fades to maintain shape; avoid pruning in late winter or early spring, as this will remove the flower buds for the coming season.
