AUTUMN JAZZ® ARROWWOOD VIBURNUM

Viburnum dentatum 'Ralph Senior' is commonly referred to as Autumn Jazz® Viburnum or Autumn Jazz® Arrowwood Viburnum. This selection has an upright, vase-shaped habit with clusters of creamy-white flowers in late May to mid June followed by blue-black fruit clusters that persist until October. Dark green foliage in summer turns a nice yellow, orange and red mix in fall.

Autumn Jazz® Arrowwood Viburnum is enjoyed by all the pollinators and songbirds in the neighborhood and thrives in full to partial sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It is perfect for screening, hedge, erosion and naturalization.

Planting Tips

To help this plant settle in and thrive, we recommend these standard planting practices: Plant in well-draining soil with full sun to partial shade. Water regularly but avoid overwatering. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Prune sparingly and only immediately after flowering to maintain shape; avoid pruning in late winter or early spring, as this will remove the flower buds for the coming season.
