Vernonia 'Prairie Princess' PPAF CPBRAF is more commonly known as Prairie Princess Ironweed. It is a showy addition to any sunny garden. It boasts an upright habit and an abundance of rich, royal purple blooms that emerge in late summer and continue through fall. Unlike some taller Ironweeds, 'Prairie Princess' maintains a more refined, manageable size, reaching around 4 feet tall, making it perfect for the back of the border or as a captivating vertical accent. Its deep green, slender foliage provides a beautiful contrast to its vibrant flowers.
Prairie Princess Ironweed thrives in full sun and adapts well to a variety of well-drained soils. It is deer-resistant and very low-maintenance.
